Heritage Open Days
7/9/17 - 10/9/17 : Isle of Wight Steam Railway
As part of the UK-wide Heritage Open Weekend, there's plenty to see on and around the Railway, including a chance to explore our Train Story Discovery Centre and learn the story of our Victorian and Edwardian railway vehicles, and their lasting impact on all our lives! Plus on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th there are guided tours of the restoration workshops.
7/9/17 - 10/9/17 : Tanfield Railway
Enjoy everything to do with the Tanfield Railway's heritage in association with Heritage Open Days. Displays and tours throughout the four days. No trains running on Thursday 7th, Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September.
ELR Beer and Cider Festival
8/9/17 - 10/9/17 : East Lancashire Railway
Discover the finest in local beers and ciders at the very first East Lancashire Railway Beer and Cider Festival. Supported by local breweries of renown and set against the stunning backdrop of the fascinating Bury Transport Museum, this festival is a must for ale and history lovers alike.

Linda the Lymington Flyer, the BR Blue carriages will operate all day with diesel haulage.
9/9/17 - : Spa Valley Railway
Paddington, a favourite with all the family will be on hand to see his fans arriving on trains from Tunbridge Wells West.

Engines with friendly faces, children's entertainment, competitions, face painting, fairground attractions.
Steam in Miniature
9/9/17 - 10/9/17 : Bure Valley Railway
Alongside our home fleet of 15in locomotives we will have a selection of smaller scale models in action and on display. A special intensive timetable will be in operation throughout the weekend to allow visitors the opportunity to see as many different locomotives as possible hard at work over the 9 miles between Aylsham and Wroxham.
