Family Fun Weekend

Falconry Flying Displays, Magic Show, Morris Dancers, Craft Stalls and lots of children's games.
A Walk in the Woods
6/5/18 - 7/5/18 : Middleton Railway
Some trains will be met at Middleton Park for a family-friendly walk round the Bluebell displays, giving you a chance to explore the woods and see the Bluebells with an experienced local guide.
Bring your teddy bear. There are special fare offers for children, with or without teddy bears, provided that they are accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
Middy in the War Years
6/5/18 - 7/5/18 : Mid-Suffolk Light Railway
Our attempt to illustrate how even a small rural railway had an important part to play in WWII. Displays will bring together set-pieces with re-enactors, period military and other vehicles, music and dancing of the period and a flypast by a member of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (weather permitting). There will also be two locomotives in steam operating the passenger trains and demonstration goods trains.

Jack the Station Cat and Edward Bear Weekend
6/5/18 - 7/5/18 : Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway
During this event passengers will be able to meet Jack the Station Cat and win a prize by completing the mouse hunt. Sittingbourne Viaduct is transformed into Tail's End and Kemsley Down becomes Much Purring for this event.
Edward Bear also stars in a series of children's books, this time set on our Railway - you will also be able to meet him and his author.
Bank Holiday Trains

If you're at a loose end on a Bank Holiday Monday, then a visit to our heritage railway is the perfect way to pass the afternoon.
