PLEASE NOTE: Events for 2018 will be added over the next few months (It takes a long while to complete as some railways do not list their events until well into the new year).

14/7/18 - 15/7/18 : Crich Tramway Village
Our Edwardian Event will include some World War I anniversary elements. As well as re-enactors, who will create a Suffragette Rally, there will be talks around themes such as gas warfare, grenades, the work of women and fashion from the period. Don't miss the Old Time Music Hall, featuring Tommies Tunes and audience participation. All those dressing in Edwardian costume will receive group rates for the daytime entrance and activities.
Star Tugs Weekend

Large Display of Star Tugs. 'Spot the Tug' competition. Children's activities and colouring sheets.
Annual Classic Transport Weekend
14/7/18 - 15/7/18 : Ecclesbourne Valley Railway
Cars, motorcycles, lorries - plenty of classic gather at Wirksworth for a weekend of travelling back to the past. A intensive train timetable will operate on the Duffield line.
Iron Curtain Rally

Our ever popular Iron Curtain rally returns for 2018, featuring military and civilian vehicles from the former Soviet block. Fancy a look at a Soviet lorry? Want to know if Trabants really are as bad as the jokes about them? Turn up at Foxfield and see for yourself.
Fairground Weekend & Mechanical Organ Gathering
14/7/18 - 15/7/18 : Hollycombe Steam Collection
Enjoy Hollycombe’s traditional steam fairground and visiting attractions including fairground models, transport, living vans and historic photographs. The Mechanical Organ Gathering complements the event with a range of visiting organs which will be playing throughout the weekend. These will date from late-1800s organettes, to hand-turned street organs, and various sizes of fairground, street and dance organs!
Leeds Diesels on Display

Running our home fleet of Leeds built diesel locomotives. This gala event will feature passenger trains and mixed trains operating over the whole line, including the little-used Balm Road branch.
