Heritage Railways hold over 1000 special events every year. Events for all the railways for the next few months are listed here.
PLEASE NOTE: Nearly all railways hold Santa Events on every weekend in December, so I don't list those here as it would just fill the Diary and make it hard to find any other event types during the Christmas period.

Trains are running from our Spooky Furnace Sidings station at regular intervals from 4pm through to 9pm. All our visitors are encouraged to dress up in their spooky clothes (but not essential). Be prepared to be scared!
31/10/17 - : Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
Spooky 'after dark' express trains, ghostly games and activities, scary Halloween-themed food. Join in the fun - if you are brave enough!
3/11/17 - 5/11/17 : South Devon Railway
The SDR is home to an impressive fleet of British Railways 'first generation' diesels built during the 1950s and 1960s to replace steam traction and the Diesel Gala weekend is a great opportunity to experience them in action. With an intensive service throughout both days, a bar on the trains and plenty of action for diesel fans - and a visiting engine.
